Garden City Beach is just South of Surfside Beach and is also a much sought after family vacation destination. At the center of Garden City Beach on Atlantic Avenue is “Sam’s Corner” which is a small Pavilion Area set up with food venues and arcade games. Just east of “Sam’s Corner” is the “King Fisher” pier which is also known as the Garden City Pier. Garden City is a long narrow strip of property that heads south into Georgetown County all the way to Garden City Point, which is a gated community that dead ends into Murrell’s Inlet. You are sure to find much to do and great places to eat and relax along Garden City Beach.
If you are enjoying a day out to sea, you can dock at Marlin Quay Marina for a short stay and enjoy some of the best food and drinks in the area. If you like golf, you will enjoy either Indian Wells Golf Club or Indigo Creek. If you would like to include your family in your golf outing, head over to Tupelo Bay, where you can play the Par 3 Executive Course, or a round of “Putt Putt”. Life never goes dull in Garden City and during the Summer Months, you are sure to find plenty of live entertainment and great food close to the sandy white beaches of Garden City. |
