Avalon is located approximately 2.5 miles from Highway 501 off of Carolina Forest Blvd. There is a lot to offer in the Avalon Community, with several floor plans to choose from, and amenities unmatched by many of the neighborhoods in the Carolina Forest Area. Avalon has been completed since late 2007 with over 700 upon completion ranging from the mid 150s to just over 300K. There is something for just about everyone in this great community.
You begin your Avalon experience from the minute you turn on Stoney Falls Blvd, and are greeted by the compelling waterfall, and the lush green berms that line the streets. Approximately ½ mile into the community, you will notice the amenities center on the right. This complex is comprise of a children’s play area, a junior Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pools, restrooms, a pavilion with grills, full basketball court, tetherball area, baseball field, soccer field, boccie ball court, and horseshoe pit. Not much has been left out of this community area.
The neighborhood of Avalon has two distinct sections that give it character, and throughout the neighborhood there are several lakes and natural preserve areas. In the front section and near the back section of the community you will find the Americana Series of Homes Built in Avalon. They typically have less upgrades and smaller lots than in the Parke Pointe section of the community. Parke Pointe is comprise of three streets of homes situation on ¼ lots, and this section of the community is conveniently located across the street from the amenities complex.
